Bolton Birch’s Managed Property Portfolio Continues to Expand

30 March, 2023

Bolton Birch has recently been instructed to manage a new portfolio of prestige industrial properties on behalf of Redsun Projects in locations including Bromborough, Knowsley, Telford and North Wales. Further new instructions include an office building at St. Asaph Business Park and retail properties in Mold.

Redsun is an existing client and the fact that they have placed this additional portfolio in Bolton Birch’s care is an acknowledgement of the confidence that property owners have in the quality service provided by Bolton Birch.

Commercial property asset management is a core service provided by Bolton Birch in addition to agency, professional and valuation services.

Martin Dodd, Director of Property Management said; “At Bolton Birch we take a pro-active approach to property management. For example, due to the high energy costs faced by landlords and occupiers of commercial property, Bolton Birch has been proactively managing energy contracts through new and innovative supply channels to reduce costs compared to standard contracts. These strategies have seen much interest over the last 18 months from clients wanting to reduce bills. Please get in touch if you wish to discover more about what we are doing with energy contracts.”

He added; “We have also been working with landlords to ensure that their properties meet the recent change in requirements for EPC’s. As from 1st April 2023, it will be unlawful for a Landlord to grant a further lease or continue letting a non-domestic property pursuant to an existing lease if that property has an energy rating of F or G.”

Bolton Birch was established over 50 years ago and its Chester office is strategically well placed to serve Cheshire, North Wales, The Wirral and beyond.

Martin Dodd commented: “We are delighted that our already sizeable managed portfolio continues to grow with a mix of new and existing clients. It is a great testament to the exceptional service level we provide, the relationship we have with our clients and the trust they have in us.”
