Our office manager Linda Middleton’s first book is out! It is a contemporary romance novel set between London and Cheshire which has been bought by Choc Lit (part of Joffe Books) an independent UK publisher as part of a three-book deal.
Linda’s novel ‘Things They Never Said’ will be published on 6th June and is currently on pre-order on Amazon at an introductory price. This is the link.
Described as “Uplifting and emotional”, “heart-warming and page-turning, this romance will lift your spirits”, it’s apparently perfect for all fans of Jill Mansell, Julie Houston, Beth Moran and Jenny Colgan.
Linda studied hotel management and worked in London, growing up in a farming family in Cheshire and has used her personal experiences in the book. She moved to Chester, working for Bolton Birch between 1995 and 1999 and re-joined the firm in 2016 to oversee the smooth running of our busy office.
Writing in her spare time, Linda began to write short stories and had several published in women’s magazines. Towards the end of 2022 she sent her first novel ‘Things They Never Said’ to Choc Lit, the rest is history.
