Acting on behalf of clients, we have successfully sold Richard House, Chester city centre, to Manchester based Property Alliance Group. Richard House is Property Alliance’s first commercial property in Chester and was acquired as part of its strategy to expand its portfolio across the north west. The property was brought to the market with a guide price of £1.8 million and Property Alliance Group purchased on the back of a pre-let to luxury tour operator, The Inspiring Travel Company who will be occupying Richard House as its new headquarters. The tour operator has been based in Chester since its inception more than forty years ago and previously headquartered at Concorde House in Canal Street for 21 years. It will relocate to Richard House in August 2019. Chairman Jenifer Atkinson said:
